Why I like working for Monarch HealthCare

If I had to give just one good reason that I like working for Monarch HealthCare, it would be difficult to narrow it down because there are so many good reasons:  A Company That Cares, Competitive Compensation and Benefits, Pride, Location, and Fun.

I started working for Monarch in 1998 and had to move out of state in 2000 due to a promotion my husband received.  Years later, we returned to California and I was thrilled that there was an opening at Monarch for me.  The fact that I chose to come back to work here speaks volumes for Monarch HealthCare as an employer.  The reality that there were many long-standing employees still working here after all those years also tells you that this is a great company to work for.

Care - This is a company with heart.  It starts at the top and permeates the entire organization.  Dr’s Asner and Cohen, the CEO and President (respectively), truly care about Monarch members and employees as evidenced in the way they run the company.  They make sure that staff are well trained and they provide them with what they need to perform their jobs and service our members.  That gives our members a sense of satisfaction and us, as employees, a sense of fulfillment, usefulness and accomplishment. That is important to me.  I like to feel like I am making a difference, not just earning a paycheck. 

Competitive Compensation and Benefits - However, we do need to earn a good income in order to live in sunny California and Monarch offers a very competitive salary and a well rounded benefits program.  Furthermore, Monarch encourages professional growth and promotion within the company.  I have seen employees come in at the ground floor  and rise quickly to the upper echelons.  It is a company filled with opportunities for those who strive to advance in their career. 

Pride - Monarch HealthCare is a leading association of independent physicians in private practice and that is something to be proud of.  We are innovative in providing our doctors with the most advanced technology and are always looking to the future.  I am proud to tell anyone who asks that I work for Monarch HealthCare.

Location, location, location - Our corporate office is located in beautiful Irvine, California.  We are freeway close and near restaurants, shopping and entertainment for that off-duty time.  And this brings me to my next reason…

Work/Life Balance – Fun! – Last but certainly not least, is the fun atmosphere encouraged by our executive management team.  I am part of our Activities Committee which facilitates several morale-building events throughout the year, culminating in a gala holiday party that is fit for royalty.  Our President, CEO, COO, and CFO can be seen scooping ice cream in the heat of the afternoon sun at our Ice Cream Social or flipping burgers for our employees through clouds of smoke at the summer BBQ.  They are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and show their appreciation for their dedicated and loyal employees.  With leadership like that, how can I help but want to work for and stay with a company such as Monarch HealthCare?
